Currently, we are seeking part-time candidates who can guarantee the ability to work 4 shifts a week with the potential to flex up to 5 when needed. The shifts we’re seeking to fill are: Option 1: 4 shifts between Monday to Friday Option 2: 2 to 3 shifts between Monday to Friday and minimum one guaranteed day on weekends Shifts are 8.5 hours in length with start times ranging from (one of the following): 7:30am - 10:30am ET 2:30pm - 5:30pm ET 6:00pm - 9:00pm ET Geek Squad Remote Support is committed to competitive wages for this entry position. As a Remote Support Agent you will… Use phenomenal customer service skills to greet the client, determine their needs and make recommendations Facilitate the complete solution of product repair, troubleshooting, upgrades, installations and other services using an online portal and remote desktop software Tutor clients on the proper and optimal use of their products Identify and recommend additional solutions to the client Maintain certain minimum KPI’s. That’s how we best serve our clients Complete training as required to continuously improve the experience for clients Have fun while being the best – you believe that positivity drives productivity and work should be stimulating You come ready with… 1 or more years’ experience with computer or network troubleshooting and repairs, is preferred 1 or more years’ supporting clients through a telephone or chat-based environment Experience in troubleshooting and/or repairing clients’ devices face-to-face A+ Certified (not required, but a bonus) Consumer electronics retail sales and service experience, or equivalent Proficiency with English, both verbal and written; proficiency with French, verbally and written, is an asset Completion of High School Diploma or equivalent We ask that your home office comes equipped with… A personal computer with monitor, speakers and anti-virus software (PC must be running Windows 8 or newer, Mac computers must be running 10.13 or newer) Subscription to a high-speed, hard-wired internet connection A USB or 3.5mm PC headset A webcam for team meetings and ongoing training A door – Home offices are required to be private and quiet, and not located in your living room We believe we have the unique opportunity to help customers enrich their lives and pursue their passions with the help of technology.
