Ziva is looking to hire an IT Support Specialist. Qualified candidates must have 2+ years of demonstrated IT support experience working with diverse hardware/software users. This role will directly support to Ziva’s infrastructure and staffing needs. We are looking for someone who loves IT support; has empathy for the colleagues you are supporting, ability to handle daily needs (while creating long term plans); and a strong desire to learn with enjoyment in repetition. What you will do (and have): User support (remotely and on-site) IT equipment support: users' workstations/peripherals and on-site networks, appliances, servers. Security support: equipment inventory, anti-malware installation, maintenance and remediation, network security, firewall, VPN, secure WIFI, SSO, HQ physical security (via external firm), and cloud security (user permissions, network ACLs). Must-haves: Active Directory Management, Windows Server Admin, Windows 10 configuration, remote management, anti-malware, IT inventory (hardware/software), network administration, vendor management, G Suite for Business, SSO, and user onboarding. Bonus (assets): Linux / FreeBSD administration, PFSense Configuration/Firewall Management, AWS IAM, VPC, EC2, S3, Google G Suite Administration, macOS management, Linux Shell Scripting, Powershell. This role is to be performed at Ziva’s offices in Vancouver, but remote work will be supported while social distancing measures are in place because of COVID-19. If not a Canadian citizen or Permanent Resident, the candidate must have a minimum of an advanced degree and/or five years of demonstrated specialized experience as an IT Support Specialist.
